Thanks To All Volunteers
Our June 27 work party accomplished a number of important projects.
As some of you may know the City of Rosemead has been providing this wonderful river rock to place around our tree wells as in this example to the right.
When possible I attend these work parties and photograph all those responsible for helping accomplish our water conservation goal.
Unfortunately this was one I couldn't attend so I'll share what they completed, their work speaks for it's self, thank you folks so much!

Thanks to our new volunteers James and Chen for doing such a fantastic job of placing all the river rock around our older trees, doesn't this look great?
I am always in amazed and thankful for all the people that come out to work on this project. Gives me a strong sense of community.
The task of sweeping and cleaning debris off the headstones is an ongoing task that takes hours of labor. So thankful to all those volunteers for coming out.
Clearing fallen debris makes the area so nice looking, thanks to our community members for all their labors.
More areas that were cleared of weeds and tree debris. As you can see this tree could use a pruning.
This time last year we were considering taking this tree out because it was dropping branches and looking like it was dying.
Fast forward one year and look at it now! The day I photographed it the bees were tending it's flowers.
Thanks again to Sandra Armenta and the City of Rosemead Beautification Committe along with the Rosemead Key Club.
